In your management resume, create a brief headline that encapsulates your career goal and one or two of your top qualifications. For example: 'A leadership sales position with a world class and high-integrity food products company'.

Include a Career Summary section in your management resume and highlight your most important strengths. To create your summary, review job postings to get a good feel for what hiring managers find desirable. Specify a list of your matching credentials and incorporate these into the summary. For example: 'A versatile and skilled sales/marketing professional with leadership qualities and excellent hands-on experience in developing and improving sales for wholesale and retail operations.
